About the slats

Our chair kit comprises 12 hardwood slats (Iroko). We provide several ratios of wide-to-thin slats that between them fit most chair ends. All slats are pre-drilled and fully rounded on the long edges.

Wide slats are 560mm long x 55mm x 20mm and narrow slats are 560mm long x 35mm x 20mm. Please check your old chair legs to see which ones you need. Common ratios:

  • 8 wide x 4 narrow
  • 9 wide x 3 narrow
  • 10 wide x 2 narrow
