Standard Bench Kit

The full kit contains:

• An Assembly guide
• 12 hardwood slats
• 1 centre strap, flat and undrilled*
• 2 pre-bent and drilled angle braces**
• 28 bolts, nuts and washers
• 16 screws

NOTE: Bench ends NOT included

If you don’t require slats, you can purchase bench accessories separately.

* In order to accommodate the various types of benches, the centre strap is supplied flat and undrilled and will need bending to shape.** We don’t supply rods.

About the slats

Our standard kit has 12 hardwood slats (Iroko), pre-drilled and rounded on the long edges. The holes are centred and offset 18mm from the end.

Wide slats are 1.2m long x 55mm x 21mm and narrow slats are 1.2m long x 35mm x 21mm. Please check the hole centres on own your bench end to see which one you need. Some of the most common ratios:

• 8 wide x 4 narrow
• 9 wide x 3 narrow
• 10 wide x 2 narrow

If your bench ends need 12 slats, but with the holes drilled into the ends instead, you might need our End-fix Bench Kit.
